I shopped all over for tile and slate and was very glad to find this place. They not only have a huge selection, they carry the finish pieces that make a project special. When we finally decided to go with natural slate for a bathroom project (instead of ceramic tile) most places would carry only a 12x12 and maybe a 6x6 of the material we liked. The tile shop had very colorful slate and carried it in a full range of sizes including 12x18 and 2x2. They had the pencil borders, wall niches, etc. to make the project truly special and unique. Possibly the best thing about shopping there is the many finished bathrooms and kitchens on display so you can get great design ideas and see ways to mix up your floor and wall tile. Unlike another reviewer below, the material I was shipped was even nicer than the store displays (which are large and very helpful). This is important with slate because it is by nature very variable. Their displays didn't just show you the very best pieces of slate, they show you the full range and that requires large display boards, not just 4-6 little pieces like most tile stores. Finally, this is the only place I know of that will let you order an extra box or two of each size, sort through it, and return full boxes of slate you don't like.
This place was so helpful with my tile for my bathroom. They even helped me find a rather hard to find tile for my floor. I just told them what kind of tile I wanted and they made sure I had all the supplies as well to install it. Later, when the contractor had a question about how to install some of the tile, they gladly explained how to do it and provided detailed written instructions. They made the whole process easy and painless.
Love the showroom and selection of tile. Some may be priced way out of my league but so many were very affordable.
Great showroom with so many choices. The employees were so nice and very patient in helping me choose just the right tile for my project. I am very happy I visited them. If I could post a picture of the finished product I would do it just to show you how great it turned out and make you jealous :)
